In March, both of our chapter meetings (Lexington and Frankfort) will be a round table discussion focused on what we, as project management professionals, have learned in the last year. No one is required to share; however, it will be a great opportunity to learn from other each other on how we can manage our projects more efficiently and effectively.

Bobbie Newman, PMP, is a project manager, technical writer and editor, business analyst, tester and instructional designer, with a strong background in the development of organizational information solutions and process transformation. During her 40 years of experience, she has led cross-functional teams and acted as business analyst and communications liaison among clients and developers in a diverse range of industries, including IT, Workforce Development, Public Health, Healthcare, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Nutrition and Food Services, Arts and Entertainment, Association Management, Retail, Transportation, and Defense. Bobbie has been a PMP since 2007 and has served on the PMI Bluegrass board in multiple roles, was communications coordinator for many years, and is currently the webmaster backup.
