No stopping at PMI KY Bluegrass
always progressing toward new frontiers
Happy New Year 2019 to all our Bluegrass chapter members!!!
As we welcome the New Year with resolutions that we try to keep, now is also the time for each of us to review our “Project Management Resolutions” that we are striving hard to accomplish. Whether you want more PDU’s, are checking out new certifications, completing some training, or looking for networking opportunities, our PMI KY Bluegrass plans to help you reach your professional goals.
Last year, our chapter celebrated its “Twentieth” anniversary. Now we are charting a new path toward our future. This year, we are embarking on several new future-focused initiatives, including guidance and resources to help you navigate the future of your Project Management profession.
2019 is also a year of celebration, as it marks the 50th anniversary of PMI Headquarters. If you’d like to learn more about PMI’s strategy moving forward, I encourage you to review the presentation made by Eric Neill at last week’s chapter meeting ->Click_Here
Our chapter is now able to offer a consistent luncheon meeting location for both Lexington and Frankfort. Lexington’s monthly lunch meetings will be at the Northside Public Library and the Frankfort luncheons will continue to be hosted every other month at the Paul Sawyer Library. Our calendar will also include events such as a Professional Development Day (PDD) in September, and dinner meetings at other locations. Check out our website (www.pmibluegrass.org) for current meeting times and locations.
Members like you are the pillars of our chapter. I look forward to meeting some new faces, greeting the familiar ones, and reaching out to other prospective professionals!
